EMA repairs Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony medium Voltage VFD s. We have the power cells in stock and have a great reputation in this field. Robicon was purchased by Siemens primarily to acquire their well-established medium voltage VFD. Many were sold into a variety of industries, including waste water and water treatment facilities. They’re generally known as Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony Drives.
EMA began repairing the Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony Medium Voltage VFDs several years ago. During that time we have developed great expertise at both field service, and refurbishing these drives. EMA stocks the Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony Medium Voltage Power cells. This allows us to respond quickly and efficiently to calls for service on the Robicon Medium Voltage drives.
The Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony drive has a unique feature, called cell bypass, which enables the VFD to continue operation, at reduced performance, following a power cell failure.
EMA regularly performs preventive maintenance on the Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony drives as well. The Perfect Harmony VFD uses electrolytic capacitors in its power sections, and after a decade of use, it’s generally a good idea to replace them. We do this quite often as part of a planned maintenance event. Think of it the same as you might think about replacing the timing belt on your automobile at a certain mileage threshold. You might get away with running the car beyond that mileage threshold, but you’re risking a catastrophic failure. It’s the same with the Perfect Harmony VFD. Best to replace it at a planned event.
